OMNI Skills Training (OST)
April OST (OMNI Skills Training)
7th-12th Grades only
OST (OMNI Skills Training) focuses on the fundamentals of a few key areas of the game: Setting, Hitting, and First Ball Contact (Serving, Passing, and Defense). OST is the technical approach to training where each fundamental is broken down and then reinforced through high repetition Drills.
Setting- focus on mastering hand positioning, footwork, and decision-making.
Hitting- focus on mastering their approach, footwork, arm swing and different attacking tools.
First Ball Contact-focus on mastering various techniques of serving, passing, and defense. Serving will focus on technique, different types of serves, along with improving consistency. Passing will focus on mastering various passing techniques as well as ball control techniques for all positions. Defensively the focus will be mastering footwork, technique and eyework.
